First of all

After 27 years of believing in #PropTech I have made it into my own business, starting June 2024. Proptechwhisper is one of the areas in which I be active. (See the other ones via the company behind it all FiveNines.)

Hire me as a ‘Senior Consultant’ if you need strategy or second opinions on the topic of digitalisation in real estate. What I provide differs for PropTech companies or Property owners. (See links for details.) Let’s start with a conversation.

How it started

I first encountered the Internet, using Mosaic (the very first web browser) in the autumn of 1994 at the Royal Institute of Technology (Master in Civil Engineering). It was NOT love at first sight. However, two years later (in parallel with my studies) I got involved in a start-up that changed how I looked at the real estate industry. The rest is history. 

The why

The ambition is to be an inspiration & support for businesses in the real estate market by highlighting great examples of "the smart use of Internet in property". Mainly from a Nordic perspective, but will also add international examples. With Datscha /RCA/MSCI I worked 10+ years on the international #PropTech stage. Furthermore, the focus is mostly on the commercial property industry, even though there will be examples from the residential market.
